I want to hear you. I want to know from you how you see me as your daughter, and as a person. Last week I felt that you were so far away and I thought I would never hear from you. But you spoke to me through Mulan. When she was presenting gifts to her Father to bring him honor and the Father just set those things aside and embraced his daughter. You spoke through Message in a bottle. When the Father confronted his son because of matters of the heart. The son told his dad to leave it because it’s none of his business. The father was broken-hearted, he said how can it not be his business when his son is the only thing he has and care for.

How can you ever think that I am so far away, that I do not hear you? I am near you, my word is near you. It is in your heart. I am in your heart. Don’t try to see yourself and your life through your own lenses. I am working on you, speaking in your life blessings that will prosper you and not harm you. to give you hope and a future.

Abide in me. I want you to spend time with me. That in everything that I think, say, and do will be pleasing to you. I am who I am.

Your faithfulness Lord, no one can fathom. My soul is restless. I ask for a gentle and quiet spirit within me. That peace which transcends all understanding to guard my very heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Let not your longing slay the appetite of your living. Wherever you are be all there. Live to the hilt everything you belive to be the will of God.
I look forward to that day you will reveal me to my future husband. To be beside him and to experience the love that you want both of us to share. You are very kind and patient with me. Let me use this longing and loneliness to glorify your name. I wanna see you face to face. I have never encountered you like you are revealing yourself now. What’s going to happen Lord? Tell me your plans. Why did you release me from a relationship that helped me to be where I am now? I am ready for the new phase in my life. Wherever you may take me and whoever he may be. I know that in my heart you are preparing me for that time. But until then, I will be still and know that you are God. I love you and no one will be able to take that away from me. You know that my Lord.

I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. Psalm 131

Lord, this is my prayer--I ask for mystery, that I will guard my heart and that I will not be easy to get. I pray you raise me up to be a woman with backbone--high standards. Make me focused on you, my Lord, that I may not be easily distracted by any particular man. Let me wait upon you, my Lord, and allow my heart to be won over time.Lord, my heart aches and longs for you. Reveal to me your will that I may be calm. You told me once--there’s a certain calmness in you. Please help me on this...

A thought, a wish, a dream, an imagination. What will it take for you to be a woman of destiny? You know that God is calling you to fast...we got a lot of unlocking to do. questions that cross my mind... Will you pursue me? Do you delight in me? Will you fight for me?

Comfort for the Contrite
And it will be said: “Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.” For this is what the high and lofty One says-- he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. I will not accuse forever, nor will I always be angry, for then the spirit of man would grow faint before me-- the breath of man that I have created. I was enraged by his sinful greed; I punished him, and hid my face in anger, yet he kept on in his willful ways. I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him, creating praise on the lips of the mourners in Israel. Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the Lord. “And I will heal them.” Isaiah 57:14-19

“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever,” says the Lord. Isaiah 59:21

Lord, why do you allow me to be in a place of longing? Is this my ministry? Relationships, love---women raised up for higher standards, Your standards? Lord, raise up men of standard to sustain the calling of each one.

“Hope deffered makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life...A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul...He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.” Proverbs 13:12

It must be hard for you, whatever it is your going through. I wish it didn’t have to be, whatever it is. But whatever door has been closed, its only because your door has its own season. That you sacrifice much to serve, even if it pains you. That, and nothing more.

Lord, you said last night “To obey is better than sacrifice...” You know the way that I take, when you have tested me I will come forth as gold. Lord, I was pondering about the verse you gave yesterday afternoon..

”Once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken--that is, created things--so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Hebrews 12:26-27

I know now why you have called me to fast.It is no longer about anything else in this whole wide world but YOU...I no longer am moved by my feelings, behavior or circumstances but rather my beliefs.

Every assignment is measured and controlled for my eternal good. As I accept the given portion other options are cancelled. Decisions become much easier, directions clearer, and hence my heart becomes inexpressibly quieter.

A Demonstration of Devotion

Does this sound like you? You have nothing to give God but problems. All you have to offer Him is your hurt. You want to accept His gift of grace, but you feel unworthy of His sacrifice.Maybe that has kept you from coming to God. Oh, you have taken a step or two in His direction. But then you saw the other people who follow Him. They seemed so clean, so neat, so trim and fit in their faith. So, you hesitated.If that description fits, read the story of the nameless woman in Mark 5. She, considered unclean by her culture, demonstrated her devotion to Jesus by touching the hem of the Savior’ garment. And that slight gesture moved Jesus to heal her. She was a shame-struck, penniless outcast who clutched onto her hunch that He could and her hope that He would.Isn’t that what faith is all about? A conviction that He can and that He will. Soundssimilar to the definition of faith given by the Bible: “Without faith no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him” (Hebrews 11:6)Not too complicated, is it? Faith is the belief that God is real and that God is good. Faith is not a mystical experience or a midnight vision or a voice in the forest...it is a voice to believe that when One who made it all hasn’t left it all.and that He still sends light into shadows and responds to gestures of faith.Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want.Faith is the belief that God will do what is right. God is always near and always available. Just waiting for your touch. So let Him know. Demonstrate your devotion:Write a letter...ask forgiveness...confess...feed a hungry person...pray...teach...go.Do something tha treveals your faith. For faith with no effort is no faith at all. God will respond. He has never rejected a genuine gesture of faith. God honors radical, risking faith. When arks are built, lives are saved. When soldiers march, Jericho tumble. When staffs are raised, seas still open. When a lunch is shared, thousands are fed. And when a garment is touched--whether by the hand of an anemic woman in Galilee or by the prayers of a beggar in Bangladesh-- Jesus Stops. So make your choice, announce your faith to God, and demonstrate your devotion.

Lord, you have set me free and gave me a new life and a new heart. Bless me with your love and grace to live my life fully devoted to you. Let me be focused on you, loving and serving you, that I will be able to pass any test or storm that come my way. Let my calling be so clear &evident that without a shadow of a doubt I am doing your will. Let me be still and know that you are God. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Please fill me with the thoughts of God. Living my life in purity and holiness. Raise me up to be a woman of standard that I won’t miss on anything you have for me. I close this chapter in my life, I have learned to quiet my soul within me. Please help me discuss my love life only when my future husband has arrived. Until then I will do everything by the power of the Holy Spirit to make disciples, train leaders and plant churches. I love you my Lord.

Let it be my heartfelt desire to be a woman of character and a woman who is beautiful in God’s eyes. I want to be able to breath a measure of breath that will reveal how wide and long and high and deep and insatiable the love of God is. A woman after God’s own heart…

People with big hearts sympathize; people with little hearts criticize.
